Following the retirement of my drag radials (see other video), the following weekend Columbus Racing held an official burnout contest at our monthly cruise-in at Advance Auto Parts. 1 minutes and 17 seconds later, the damage:
- one pair of snow tires with 75% tread left now showing the belts
- Both rear brake rotors cracked in two places each
- So much smoke I stopped nearby traffic and someone from a condo complex came to see why there was smoke in his backyard
- Craters in the parking lot
- Tranny fluid from my overflow tube on the tranny (yeah, I kinda took it extreme in the temp department)
- About an hour of rubber removal from the car
I walked away with a brand new AEM Uego Wideband 02 setup as the prize for first place, thanks to AP Tuning in Hilliard. They say my rotors were red as I pulled away from the burnout box, during the day. I had a blast :)
